Photography does not actually interest me. It is only a working tool for me, like a brush or a pencil, and only as a tool do I respect it.
Sports photography holds a special place in my workshop and has undoubtedly had a great influence on it. To it, too, I have devoted the most time of my life.

Sometimes I wonder why exactly I have dedicated such a large part of my life to sports photography. It seems to me that it's a matter of relationships with athletes - people who live their passion, have the courage to bet on their dreams in life and persistently pursue their goals, but also still have that childlike element in them. Maybe this is what unites us, that in sports as in photography, the “here and now” is important.
“I want to bring the audience as close to the action as possible - to feel the sweat, the speed, the intensity.”
Naturally, the way in which the photo is taken depends on the intended effect, but I really appreciate shooting close-up, which sometimes requires shooting from the water, a boat or hanging from the trunk of a moving car. Communication with the athlete being photographed and understanding the technical aspects of the sport are also key, which is why sports photography is an ongoing learning experience.
I was born here, I have lived here since I was born, and I continue to explore this country with curiosity and delight. Discovering beauty in the everyday life around us is like doing small things with great love - it shapes character.
